These were all part of Auckland's Tech Week
A total of 11 FREE workshops, on each afternoon, that were aimed at Youth. These were held at the Ōtara Town Centre Library;
- 3D Printing - there were workshops where kid's experienced this amazing technology.
- Animation - this could now be the start of your next animated film production. See you at the Oscar's.
- Digital Music -People recorded & created their own digital music.
- Futuristic Transport - Participants learnt about aerodynamics, energy and sustainability and how these hold the keys to our cars of the future.
- Gaming - Kids learnt about creating games, not just playing them. This a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide.
- Hour of Code - who said you couldn't write your own computer code. Plenty came and saw how easy it can be.
- PC Fixit - Fixing PC's and taking a look in behind what makes them work.
- Robotics - Workshops including Mbots & Cubelets. Kids built their own Robots. These needed to be seen to be believed.
- Social Media - There are now more Social Media experts.
